The community of The Lakes features just that, Lakes. Currently this subdivision is not fully developed as there are many vacant lots.  However, the home builder Meritage is selling as well as other builders.  The Lakes does not feature any community pool, there are no schools and as mentioned before, the main feature are lakes so this community offers waterfront lot homes.

The Lakes is located on Smith Enke Rd, between Porter Rd and White & Parker.  There are two entrances into the community; the main entrance is off Chase Dr and the street that circles the community is Powers Parkway and  another entrance is from the golf community of Rancho El Dorado, on Placone Ln.  Adjacent to The Lakes you will find the Maricopa Library, a fire department and the golf community of Rancho El Dorado.
