The 347 is a two-lane highway in each direction (Maricopa Rd / John Wayne Parkway) and provides easy access to and from the Phoenix area. According to the 2010 census, the population is near 45,000 with 15,000 households and over 17,000 housing units. The average age of residents is 31 and based on 2009 statistics, the median household income was $67,000. Compared to the nearby cities of Ahwatukee, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix, Maricopa Arizona offers homes for sale real at good values as the homes are newer and can be purchased for less cost per square feet. 2018 – In 2018, there were 1946 homes that sold (this does not include horse properties and mobile homes).  The average list price was $213,000 and the average selling price was $211,000.  This converts to a list/price to sales/price ratio of 99%.  The average square foot home was 2121 with 67 days on the market.  The most affordable home sold for $125K that featured 4 bedrooms, 3 bath, 1800 square feet and was located in Maricopa Meadows.  The most expensive home sold in the active adult living community of Province and was a waterfront lot home with just over 3,100 square feet.  This property featured 4 bedrooms, 4 bath and sold for $505,0000.  

2017 – 1876 real estate transactions occured in 2017 with an average sales price of $195,000 even though the average list price was $198,000.  The average home sold in Maricopa featured 2162 square feet and was on the market for 65 days.  The most expensive home that closed was in the golf community of Rancho El Dorado that featured; 2851 square feet with a pool and golf course views.  This home sold for $455,000.  The most affordable home closed in Senita for $110,000 and was only featured 2 bedrooms with a total of 1061 sqft. 

2016 – For this year the number of properties that sold was 1712.  The average list price was $181K and the average selling price was $178K.  The average home size was 2109 square feet and was on the market for 77 days.  For most affordable home sold for $95,000 and featured 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and 1615 square feet.  This home was located in Maricopa Meadows.  The most expensive home was a lake view property in the 55 plus community of Province that was 3174 square feet.
