The City of Maricopa in Arizona ranked this year

# 5

as the “Safest” City in Arizona.

SafeWise reviewed the most recent FBI Crime Report stats from 2015 and cities with fewer than 2,000 residents were excluded.  Crimes invloved in the study included the violent crimes of murder, rape, aggravated assault and robbery as well as property crimes such as arson, larceny-theft, burglary and mortor vehicle theft.
